The modern NSW F15 Trophies are the “Bookiera Trophy” (Open), a timber copy of a F15 Keel inscribed with past winners. “Bookiera” was the Flying Fifteen sailed by IK Downing which won the first three NSW championships as well as the Australian National Championship in 1965.
The “Taurus Trophy” (Silver) a timber copy of a F15 transom inscribed with past winners named after R. Mason’s F15 “Taurus” that won the NSW State Championship in 1973 and 1974 and won the Australian National Championship in 1974.
The “Instant Replay Trophy” (Classic) a timber copy of a F15 rudder, inscribed with past winners. This trophy is named after Glen Coulton’s F15 “Instant Replay” form Lake Macquarie Yacht Club, that won the Flying Fifteen World Championship in Hong Kong in 1986.
